Why I Do This Work
My Story
I was that kid. The one who missed deadlines, procrastinated constantly, and felt overwhelmed by school. Diagnosed with ADHD, I knew I was capable of more — but I never had the tools. Cookie-cutter programs never worked for me. Instead of feeling understood, I felt discouraged and behind.
I barely got into Denison University.
But I stopped trying to force my brain to work like everyone else's and started building systems that worked for me. I pursued that obsession formally — earning a B.S. in Psychology, studying the science of how people learn, focus, and build lasting habits. Dean's List. VP of National Honor Society. Two-time NCAA national champion. All of it built — habit by habit, system by system — by a kid who once couldn't turn in his homework on time.
That's what drives my coaching. Every student gets what I didn't have early on: a personalized system designed around how their brain actually works — grounded in psychology, built around their life, and tested by someone who has lived it. A real structure for getting unstuck, staying organized, and building habits that last.
I believe every student is capable. They just need the right support, the right strategies, and someone who truly understands what they're going through. That belief is the foundation of my coaching.
